This tea comes from a garden in northeast India. 

To be able to preserve the structure of the deep brown leaves with golden orange tips, this refined rarity is treated with exceptional care. 

The powerful malt taste harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the honey and the golden brown of the cup suggests the spicy delicacy of this tea.

The tea would have fermented during the sea voyage, and the English, then little tea connoisseurs, would have appreciated it and would have ordered more from China. 

Thus, obtaining black tea requires completing the fermentation process. 

After harvesting, withering takes place, which allows the tea leaves to lose 50% of their water. 

Rolling then breaks the cells of the leaf to release the enzymes and trigger fermentation. 

The fermentation time varies depending on the desired color. 

The tea is then roasted, then sorted and classified into two grades (broken leaves or whole leaves). 

Black tea is drunk plain or sweetened, possibly with a touch of milk.
