Château de l'Ou - Southern wine Cotes du Roussillon - Red wine Côtes-du-Roussillon - Vintage 2020 - Organic wine "L'Ou" in Catalan, means "the egg" in French: it is the name of the locality where the property is located because at the time there was an ovoid resurgence of water there. The Mas de L'Ou, which seems to have been exploited by the Templars, was a place of passage very frequented by the muleteers of the region. In 1998, Séverine and Philippe Bourrier bought the estate of 30 hectares in one piece planted with 26 hectares of vines and 4 hectares of olive trees in the town of Montescot in the Pyrénées-Orientales, 10 km south of Perpignan. The entire property is immediately converted to Organic Farming.
