Fatum

The word "FĀTUM" originally comes from Latin and means "FATE". In French, the word "Fatum" is mainly used to designate an unavoidable destiny or an inevitable event which determines the course of things. MAGIC DREAM is proud to present FATUM, a unique collaboration with the Italian magic shop La Servente. A mentalism effect that will predict the future of your spectators, fully translated into French by our team! Discover with your spectators that destiny has already determined everything and that the future is already written in the stars... What is FATUM? FĀTUM is a two-phase routine for two spectators. It will allow you to immerse your audience in the atmosphere of a clairvoyance session. You show fortune-telling cards from a fortune-telling machine. Each spectator tears off a ticket from one side or the other of the strip (their choice is free) and reads their fate written on the back (all tickets are different). Now it's time to test their autosuggestion: will they be influenced by the seer's words? To test this, you will use an old deck of cards representing the sun or the moon. Cut about half of the deck and place one half face down and the other face up: each spectator will take 7 cards from one or both decks (again, their choice is free). After that, everyone counts the number of sun and moon cards they have collected and they both collected different numbers of sun and moon cards, but... The number of sun and moon cards they collect will match the number of suns and moons depicted on the front of each ticket they chose at the beginning! In the second part, all the cards are shuffled by the spectators and then turned over. You fan the cards face down and take out a few cards, face down, asking the spectators to guess whether it is a sun or moon card. You place each card according to the spectator's intuition. After a few cards, you show that your spectators' intuition was correct!
