Impromptu Mentalism

"Oh, you're a magician, can you do a trick for us? »How many times have you heard this at a party when you had nothing on you or nearby, not even a deck of cards? So, if as a magician you can always politely decline by explaining that you don't have your equipment, it's quite different if you're a Mentalist... Indeed, we don't seem to use anything other than our brain, and we generally have that with us at all times... But do you know of any good impromptu mentalism effects that don't really use any particular accessories? In his book Impromptu Mentalism, Mark Elsdon offers nearly fifty mentalism effects that you can do anywhere, anytime, using nothing but your mind (and possibly a pen or a few pieces of paper). You will quickly be able to present, for example, the following experiments: Ask a spectator to secretly draw a cross in the palm of one of his hands, in an instant you guess which one!( »Lies", p. 19.)You guess the favorite deadly sin of one of your spectators, without writing anything or using any props… (”Seven”, p. 23.)You present an impromptu book test, without a book, without anything, just using the imagination of your spectators!( »This Year's Book, p. 35.)In a bar, surrounded by friends, you can guess the drink they will choose for you!(? »One last one for the road", p. 49.)You turn your hand into a magnet by drawing an A on it, and you drive the compass on one of your spectators' borrowed cell phones crazy!( »"Disoriented", p. 55.)You guess the card freely thought of by a spectator, without using anything: no deck of cards, no paper, you don't write anything and neither does the spectator!( »Miracle without play", p. 117.)You guess a time freely thought of by a spectator, without writing anything down, without asking any questions... The method is simply brilliant!( »Hour after hour", p. 121.)You guess which hand the spectator is hiding their ring in, without asking a single question!( »“A Ring and Two Hands,” p. 171.)You reveal your gift of intuition to a spectator: the latter effectively guesses each of your choices!( »Always dream, p. 175.)You show that you predicted a short poem randomly created by a spectator!( »Poetry in Motion”, p. 211.)Etc. This wonderful book also contains two complete, more structured routines: in "Bluffering with Freud", a three-phase routine, you guess words freely thought by spectators; the "Simplex Reading System" is a cold reading system that is easy to memorize and implement and will allow you to make astonishing revelations about your spectators... In Impromptu Mentalism, Mark Elsdon offers us dozens of very astonishing routines, doable anywhere and at any time, which will give your spectators the impression that you have real psychic powers! Book in French, format 17 cm - 24 cm, 288 pages.
