In July 2018, we finalized all prototypes of the luxury series in collaboration with the Taiwan Playing Card Company.Revisited from the regular editions, this game benefits from freshly developed new printing techniques! Copper Foil Edition The Copper Foil Edition features large-area copper foil printing on all 54 cards.
ÉLimited edition of 2,000 copies, with numbered seal.It also features a special metallic surface and a flapless case. Behind the story: The Copper Foil edition is inspired by the ancient Chinese technique of making bronze mirrors, playing with light to add a special sparkle to the flourishes. Its production required more than six months of prototypes due to the complexity of hot stamping on large surfaces.This process is unstable because it depends on extreme precision: The card paper, its texture, the graphic pattern, and the thermal pressure can all influence the result.Hot foil can even warp cards if the design is too complex.
