These tea filters made from natural plant fibers (wood cellulose and Manila hemp) are made in Hamburg, Germany. These filters are compostable. Manila hemp is a natural fiber extracted from the leaves of the abaca tree (Musa textilis), a species of banana native to East Asia that renews itself quickly and easily. Very resistant to breaking, this fiber was once used to make ropes for boats. It is mainly produced in the Philippines and Ecuador. These fine filters meet the strict quality criteria of the aromatreu® registered trademark, they are in fact designed to preserve the "intact flavor" of the greatest teas. They have not undergone any bleaching and have been assembled without glue, using a pressed fiber filling. The lower gusset gives the leaves enough space to develop their full flavor. These filters can be closed using a filter clip* to easily infuse tea (*the clip is sold separately). Dimensions 130 x 85 x 45 mm (height/width/thickness). 100 filters per box. Product use: Filters for brewing loose tea or herbal tea: insert the material into the filter, close with a filter clip and hang it all in your teapot. Maintenance method: Remember to put your filter in the compost with the tea.
