Niels started Let's do Goods when he accidentally discovered that underwear and socks are the least donated, but are the most needed. Surely this had to be solved?
At first it was a hobby. The idea was to design socks together with artists with lived experience in the field of homelessness, addiction or psychiatry. From 12 cities. Every month a new sock from a new artist from a different city in the country. And when a sock was sold, we would donate one too. Solve the problem together!
The hobby slowly became a real social business. The media wrote whole stories about us and nine socks later Niels decided to devote his time full-time to Let's do Goods. A group of enthusiastic Goods people arose who helped build this dream. Because you cannot make the world a better place alone.
We still have so many ideas! We want to give even more street artists a stage for their stories. We want to start a conversation about inequality in the world. We want to solve the complete shortage of underwear and socks.
