Devil's claw is now well known for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. The extract is therefore indicated in cases of arthritis and other rheumatological diseases, as well as in cases of widespread pain, also of traumatic origin. The analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of devil's claw have been confirmed by numerous studies conducted in vitro, on rodents and on humans. Bromelain: it is a proteolytic enzyme present in the extract of the stem and in the unripe fruit of Ananas comosus, with anti-edema, anti-inflammatory, antithrombolytic and fibrinolytic properties used in the treatment of inflammatory states, especially if associated with the presence of edema. Bromelain helps maintain the body's natural defenses and is a useful food supplement in all those conditions in which there is an overproduction of inflammation-producing substances: inflammatory, traumatic and painful processes at the level of the musculoskeletal system or at the level of other districts, such as example the respiratory and urogenital systems.
