Cornelis Kruseman was born in Amsterdam in 1797. He continued to live in that city until he traveled to Switzerland and Italy in 1821, finally arriving in Paris. In 1825, after his return to the Netherlands, he settled in The Hague. On October 3, 1832 he married Henriette Angelique Meijer. In 1841 he left again for Italy, where he would stay for 6 years. He is therefore also called the "Italian Kruseman". From 1847 to 1854 he lived in The Hague, and then in Lisse until his death. Based on the painting by Cornelis Kruseman 'Portrait of Cornelia Nicola', we have made this cool men's sneaker in a pixel variation especially for the latest Masterly The Hague edition.
