The Sara two-tone soup plate is unique and refined tableware. Half green, half ocher/brown with a large capacity, it is suitable for everyday use as well as as a presentation dish or decoration. Its raw and authentic style will delight your senses and your guests! The pottery and ceramics of Tamegroute have made the reputation of this town in southern Morocco, close to Zagora in the desert, and of its artisans. The pottery is first made of clay before being covered with enamel which gives it its characteristic and inimitable shades. The composition of this enamel and the ancestral manufacturing techniques are kept secret, they are passed down from generation to generation, from artisan to artisan, which makes this ceramic rare. Often copied but never equalled, Tamegroute ceramics are recognizable by their raw appearance and their irregularities which give each object a totally unique character!
