MICAH Yaro

Yaro means "Boy" in Hausa, a language spoken in Mali, Niger and Nigeria. The loincloth is beige, with linear patterns reminiscent of the Bogolan style specific to the region. Made of high quality silicone, non-toxic and anti-allergenic for children, environmentally friendly, the baby doll is smooth and soft to the touch. The eyes are in acrylic and the hair is implanted by hand. Arm, leg and head joints can be rotated 360°. The doll measures 32cm from the base of the skull to the toes. All of these details make him look much more like a real baby boy than most dolls you find in stores. The baby doll complies with CE standards, so it is safe for children. The clothes are sewn by Afrowax Empire, a micro-company partner of our project.
