LoofCo Root Vegetable Scrubber is hand made in Egypt from Loofah aegyptiaca plant with a cotton hanging loop. Made from a 11.5cm tapered slice loofah gourd, we use the thinner end of a loofah as it is more aerated and suited to this task. Natural variations in size may occur. LoofCo offers a range of 27 natural plant-based cleaning products - loofah sponges, scourers, coconut brushes, pan scrapers, cloths & soaps. All plastic free, zero waste & vegan for a greener home. To Use: • May appear abrasive when dry but when immersed in water, it swells slightly to become a soft spongy and flexible pad. Fits neatly in the hand • A must-have for cleaning muddy vegetables. Use with water on wet skin of root vegetables with gentle pressure to lift off soil and debris • To keep loofah fresh between uses, rinse, squeeze out water, shake out food particles & hang to dry from the cotton loop • Occasionally wash in the washing machine or by hand Last for months, when worn out can be composted
