Alsatian gastronomy is a true crossroads of traditions. Influenced by French and German cultures, but also by Swiss and Italian touches, it stands out for its authenticity and its attachment to local products. Among the emblematic dishes, we find the sauerkraut garnie, generously served with various smoked meats, the baeckeoffe — a simmered dish of potatoes, meats and vegetables —, or the flammekueche, a thin tarte flambée with bacon and cream.
