Mont-de-Marsan is a French town located in the Landes department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is located approximately 50 km west of Dax. The history of Mont-de-Marsan dates back to Roman times, when a fortified city called Marsanum was present on this site. During the Middle Ages, the town became an important economic and administrative centre, with the construction of a fortified castle in the 12th century and the establishment of a parliament in 1450.Today, Mont-de-Marsan is a dynamic and prosperous city, with a strong cultural tradition and a diversified economy.
