Bomba rice is especially appreciated and considered the most suitable for preparing typical Mediterranean dishes such as paella. ​Bomba Sivaris Rice is a premium variety grown in the ecological environment of the Albufera Natural Park, in Valencia, Spain. It belongs to the japonica family and is characterized by its short, round, pearly grain, approximately 5 mm long and 2.1 mm wide. Rice with a high capacity for flavor absorption, grown in the Valencia lagoon. Firm, loose grain that stretches and wrinkles during cooking, but does not overcook easily, absorbing more liquid and flavors than other rices. Protected Designation of Origin "Valencia Rice".
