But however death may watch me grow, however life may let me go, before I walk the streets of gold, across the rivers, wherever you are… I am looking for you’_. Looming over the piece in the righthand corner is the bark of a tree standing as if it were the shadow of death. However, life lies suspended in the work as the saxophone - a symbol of music, inspiration and hope. And central to the work is the crucifix - a symbol of sacrifice and expression of love. ©Mahc Beau
