Making glass bead bracelets in Nepal is an ancient art passed down from generation to generation. In the Sindhuli district, 3 hours from Kathmandu, talented craftswomen craft these jewels with great precision. Using the crochet technique, they carefully thread each pearl onto a strong thread. Depending on the craftswoman who makes it, the tension of the hook can vary, making each bracelet unique. Inner diameter: about 5.5cm (stretches to 6.8cm). The bracelet wraps around the wrist and adjusts to its size thanks to the stretch of the very strong cotton threads.
