Interlinked hoops of resin joined around 3D semi circles of timber, with timber discs threaded along the cord to the parrot shaped clasp. All timber is from sustainable plantations. This piece is 100% handmade by a small family company in The Philippines, owned and operated by a woman. The timber is from sustainable plantations which is grown, managed, harvested and replanted by the "Go Green" organisation in The Philippines under the guidance of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Each bead and piece is hand cut, shaped, dyed and then polished with a natural wax based product. The beads are strung on waxed cotton cord and the finished piece is extremely light. Closure with nickel free clasp Weight: 28g Length: 62 cm / Drop: 28 cm CARE Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. If marks appear, lightly polish using a soft cloth with a little mineral oil. Alternatively, coconut and linseed oil may be used.
