Wood Necklace 33 DESCRIPTION: Long drop, light weight terracotta coloured necklace of bisected wooden discs of different sizes. This piece is 100% handmade by a small family company in The Philippines, owned and operated by a woman. The timber is from sustainable plantations which is grown, managed, harvested and replanted by the "Go Green" organisation in The Philippines under the guidance of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Each bead and piece is hand cut, shaped, dyed and then polished with a natural wax based product. The beads are strung on waxed cotton cord and the finished piece is extremely light.
