The “Maenads” series celebrates street dancers, who continue to bring a daily dose of grace and poetry to passers-by around the world. In China, the “Dancing Grannies” meet every morning on the banks of rivers, in public squares or in parks to practice the tai chi dance; in Peru, the "Cholas" gather around the "Plaza de Armas" of each city on the occasion of the festivals. This series pays homage to some of them, observed on the sly during a trip to Peru.
