Earrings sculpted in bronze, hand polished and gilded with fine 24K gold. Hand-cut mirror. 925 silver rod. Completely handmade. This jewel is made using lost wax casting techniques. Each element was designed from a glass shard cast produced by Marion Fillancq during an archaeological pruning session, to then be drawn in metal and worked on the workbench. This jewel has been hand-polished to reveal the facets of the cut sparkle, its tears, and its material. A mirrored element enhances this jewel: it was cut by pressure according to the archaeological cutting techniques mentioned above.
