ORGANIC coconut vegetable oil - 200 ml

Coming from the cold pressing of fresh coconut pulp, vegetable coconut oil has great nourishing, soothing and protective properties for the skin of the face and body. It is also a great hair regenerating oil. Its nutritional qualities make it a food of choice, especially as part of a ketogenic diet. Properties : - protective of the skin and hair: even if it penetrates very quickly and very well into the skin, it leaves a protective film which acts as a barrier against external aggressions. - nourishing: it reduces skin dehydration, restructures cell membranes and repairs damaged epidermis. - softening: it leaves the skin soft, elastic and satiny. - soothing: it is an ideal base for all treatments for irritated, overheated skin and to treat redness. It has an action comparable to that of Aloe Vera gel. Description : Coconut oil is solid below 24°C. It therefore comes either in the form of a very white melting butter, or in the form of a clear oil. Coconut oil will be more solid when temperatures are very low. If you store it in the fridge it will get very hard, but will melt very quickly if you soak the bottle in warm water. Its characteristic, gourmet, exotic, sweet fragrance is associated with summer and the beach. Its touch is quite dry, it is an oil that penetrates quickly. Coconut oil has a comedogenic index of 4. It should therefore be used sparingly on the face. It is important to note that the comedogenicity index will be modified if coconut oil is mixed with an oil with little or no comedogenicity. Coconut oil comes from the cold pressing of fresh coconut pulp. Use : Coconut oil, alone or in a mixture, is a reference for dry, even very dry, and/or damaged skin. It has the dual property of nourishing deeply and leaving a non-greasy protective film. This is why it is widely used in summer, in after-sun and anti-drying care. It can also be protected in extreme climatic situations: sun, but also strong drying winds like the mistral, and also intense cold. Coconut oil is also extremely soothing for sensitive, redness-prone, irritated skin. Nourishing, softening and restructuring, it is an ingredient to integrate into your anti-stretch mark massage oils and balms. A coconut oil hair mask will have a deeply restructuring action on dry or damaged hair. Like all oils, it will have a "suffocating" action on the lice, which will then be eliminated with a fine comb and shampoo. Coconut oil and copra oil: what are the differences? If they both come from the same plant, cocos nucifera, the quality is not at all the same. Coconut oil is obtained by first cold pressing fresh coconut pulp. Unheated and without the use of solvents, it retains all the properties of fatty acids and vitamins. Much less expensive, copra oil is the result of the pressing of dried coconuts. It is first refined while hot to rid it of microbes, bacteria and other impurities accumulated during the drying time, then deodorized. This whole process alters its components and qualities. Copra oil is mainly used in industrial baking and soap making.
