Chestnut Honey: Along with Thyme honey, it is one of the honeys with the highest natural antibiotics.                                        It has great properties that make it particularly digestive, antibacterial and with more antioxidants than other honeys. This honey comes from apiaries located in environments full of Bierzo chestnut trees and therefore, it is unique.                                        The bees make it during the flowering of the chestnut tree and its collection is usually in July. Its flavor is sweet like any honey but its background has a salty touch and sometimes a bitter touch if there is heather or bramble in its composition.                                        Our advice is that if you have never tried it… dare at least once!                                        Afterwards you will no longer want to change. Many of you ask us about strong honeys... This honey is strong but the chestnut softens it a lot.                                        That is, it is not as strong as heather but not as soft as flower.
