Mountain honey

Mountain Honey All-flower mountain honey is called "multi-floral" because it comes from a diversity of floral varieties in mid-mountain areas, between 800 and 1,500 meters above sea level. This honey reflects the characteristic aromas of the Montagne Noire, the region where it is harvested. It results from the foraging of numerous species such as sainfoin, vetch, lime, rhododendron, raspberry, marjoram, clover, bramble, willowherb, chestnut and many other plants, giving the product an exceptional aromatic richness. Known for its natural properties, mountain honey helps soothe sore throats, coughs and various respiratory problems. In addition, it stimulates the immune system and contributes to the general strengthening of the body. •Appearance: Brown color with golden highlights. Sometimes clearer. Liquid consistency, sometimes slightly pasty. The granulation is fine, but it can sometimes become very hard upon crystallization. The creamy structure particularly highlights it by bringing out the aromas. •Nose: The aroma is very aromatic, strong, and persistent, with a scent of cut hay, sometimes with notes of chestnut depending on the year. • Palate: The flavor is pronounced and can vary from year to year, from one slope to another, depending on the honey flow schedule.
