Mikel Casal

Mikel Casal is a renowned Spanish illustrator who likes people and their stories. If this were not the case, he could not make cartoons in which, while exaggerating or distorting his portrait, he manages to express the essence of the character. His illustrations are in Ankorstore thanks to Lance and Malone is a space dedicated to the exhibition and sale of art in the Old Town of San Sebastián.

The project was launched in early 2018 and is the result of the union of two friends who share tastes and hobbies.
Photography, collage or illustration are some of the formats that we like the most and that are most present in our store, but there is also space for other forms of art.

Lance hails from the world of photography and has gone all the way from analog times to today's digital age. In this process he has moved around many places doing all kinds of jobs; portraits, street photography, black and white, architecture, music and also a lot of surfing (in and out of the water)
Today he combines photography with collage and painting.

Malone moves in the world of the web, video and photo retouching although his great passion is surfing. Currently he is fully dedicated to 3D collage, although he also collaborates with Lance in some of his works. His role in this project is to bring the most digital part of creation and his experience blends perfectly with Lance's analog background.
Together they have created this space in which to offer their creations and also that of other artists who share this same vision and style such as Mikel Casal, Rosco and Roscow.
