Aari Gold Cuff

HistoryRich and complex, Aari embroidery was born in northern India in the 15th century. These jewels of fine glass beads and pyrite adorned the wrists of the Rajput Princesses of Rajasthan. Aari comes from "Aar", which designates the needle of the master embroiderers. The Aari collection revisits this ancestral technique of hand needle embroidery. Our glass beads and pyrites are selected for their extreme finesse and luminosity. They are embroidered by hand, one by one, on a piece of leather, to create a piece of jewelry that is light to wear. The pearl and pyrite ornaments illuminate the wrist with fine bursts of color. The cuffs close around the wrist with a hidden magnet and a gold embossed button. The leather provides a unique feeling of lightness on the hand. Published in a limited edition of 20, the Aari Gold Cuff brought together for its creation by the Master embroiderers of Delhi, LES KARIGARS and MILLE et CLAIRE.
