Comedy wall art is not something our lovely followers are unfamiliar with, in fact Kirin is one of our more prominent exponents of this with his extremely popular artwork series ‘The Bubblegum Collection’. The Tongue collection isn’t entirely unlike the Bubblegum collection. Taking traditional pre 18th century portraits and maintaining their grand formal aesthetic but injected some fun by the simple use of poking the tongue out.
