The Asp is the anglicized form of aspis, it was the symbol of royalty in Egypt, and its bite was used for the execution of favoured criminals in Greco-Roman times. Cleopatra is said to have killed herself with an Asp, the very same ones that you see here now. Made from golden metallic acrylic with ruby red translucent eyes hanging off of a hand bent ringer with scaled detail everywhere.
