Christmas decoration "Afghan Hound" from the project MADE51 (UNHCR)

Made by Afghan refugees in Malaysia, the model is a colorful depiction of the popular silky dog breed native to Afghanistan. This product is part of a beautiful Christmas decoration collection by Made 51 and is lovingly made by artisans in refugee camps in 16 countries around the world. Each piece reflects the refugees' stories, traditions and craft techniques. This makes them a special gift during the Christmas season. MADE51 was launched by UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency. UNHCR works to protect the rights of refugees and build a better future for refugees, displaced persons and stateless persons.
