Christmas decorations "Brave Ibis" from the MADE51 project (UNHCR)

Made by Syrian refugee women living in Turkey.   The northern bald ibis is the national bird of Syria and has symbolized splendor and splendor since the times of ancient Egypt.   Threatened with extinction, only a few of these brave birds can be found.    This product is part of a beautiful Christmas decorations collection from Made 51 and is lovingly made by craftsmen in refugee camps in 16 countries around the world.    Each piece reflects the refugees' stories, traditions and craft techniques. This makes them a special gift during the Christmas season.    MADE51 was launched by UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency.   UNHCR is committed to protecting the rights of refugees and building a better future for refugees, displaced people and stateless people.
