Nilgiri Maofeng (Indian green tea)

«Nilgiri Maofeng» is an Indian green tea from plantations located at an altitude of 1800-1900 meters above sea level in the Nilgiri region (Tamil Nadu district, the southern spurs of the Western Ghats). Harvest: November 2020. In appearance: medium-sized curved, twisted, green buds and thin cuttings. The fragrance is restrained, grassy. The liquor is transparent, with a yellow-green shade. The bouquet of the ready-made tea is fresh, grassy-floral with fruity and berry notes. The fragrance is intensive, grassy-floral. The taste is rich, sweet and oily, a bit tart, with berry sourness and long refreshing finish. Brew tea with hot water (80-85°С) in a porcelain gaiwan or in a teapot of porous clay.
