Large capiz dish in the shape of a shell Diameter 27.5 Height 2 cm The shell used is a nacreous shell (Placuna Placenta) commonly called ''capiz''. It is picked up in South East Asia and worked by hand. To be shaped, it is baked, bleached, pressed on moulds, dried, polished, colored and finally coated with protective layers. This cup cannot be washed in the dishwasher.
