Bromelain is extracted from the stem of the pineapple plant and is a proteolytic enzyme which can be used in the breakdown of protein to amino acids. It also exhibits anti-viral properties and is an integral part of our system. Contraindication: This product is not suitable for people with gastritis, colitis or ulcerative conditions of the stomach.
