Tea drinking was brought to Britain from Portugal, when Catherine of Braganza married King Charles II in 1662 and brought loose leaf tea along with her dowry. From there it became a favourite drink of the elite. Fast forward to today and people from all walks of life can enjoy great tea in all its glory. We created the London Breakfast blend to stay true to our traditions and to create our own tea drinking rituals at home. Made with top quality black tea from India and Sri Lanka, this brew will refresh and invigorate, and give you a burst of energy to power through your day. THIS CADDY CONTAINS: 125g of loose leaf tea. This will make approx. 40 cups of tea. HOW TO MAKE IT: use a teaspoon of tea per 250ml and infuse for 5 minutes at 100°C. Best brewed in a teapot, or a tea brewing bag.
