Nikola is a family-owned independent workshop located on the island of Corfu, Greece. Producing high-quality handcrafted leather goods with an emphasis on sandals. Each item is handmade to order in-house by us.
For the sandals soles, we use high-quality cowhide leather from the island of Crete and for the straps full grain leather from either Crete or Italy.
How we started
During the late seventies, my mother made a leather wallet, showed it to a shop in Athens and they immediately placed an order. Both my parents started making leather goods and opened a shop in Athens, the Greek capital. After a few years, they decided to move to Corfu, one of the most beautiful and touristic islands in Greece, and open a shop. They made leather goods there for the next fifteen years.
