Furikake is an iconic condiment in Japanese cuisine. Traditionally sprinkled on rice, it adds flavor, crunch and a touch of salt to everyday dishes. Our version revisits this Japanese specialty with Breton seaweed from the Gulf of Morbihan: wakame, dulse and royal kombu. Combined with roasted blond sesame and Guérande salt, they form a tasty, balanced and 100% natural blend. This furikake is assembled in our workshop from ingredients harvested on the Breton coast. The seaweeds—dulse, wakame, and royal kombu—offer a unique flavor profile: marine, umami notes with a beautiful depth. The blond sesame seeds, toasted on site, add crunch and a light toasted note. Guérande salt enhances the whole while respecting the natural balance of the mixture. Without additives, sugar or enhancers, this furikake is an artisanal and local version of a great Japanese classic. Furikake was born in Japan in the early 20th century to enrich simple dishes. Rich in nutrients, it has become an essential part of Japanese family cooking. Our version pays homage to this tradition while promoting local marine resources. A bridge between two cultures, for a condiment that is original, healthy and inspiring. A Japanese blend revisited in Breton style, simple and tasty, which accompanies all your desires - from a bowl of rice to fish to roasted vegetables.
