Nyuzi Blackwhite

Our Nyuzi Blackwhite label stands for multifunctional upcycling products that tell stories. The threads of our products connect people, emotions and worlds with one another. In a social project in Kenya, we are transforming old cement sacks into ultra-light, multifunctional and hard-wearing bags and other accessories. We want to give waste a new use and thus counteract our consumer behavior. The unique items are produced under fair conditions and enable young people to help themselves. Otherwise, old cement sacks are burned directly on the construction site in Kenya and end up on the side of the road or in rivers. Each product is made from start to finish by one of our seamstresses and then signed with a label "made by ...". With a special upcycling made from waste, we want to connect different worlds and inspire our throwaway society to adopt a new lifestyle.
