The table is made of solid mango wood and has a top thickness of 4 cm. Mango wood is super trendy at the moment. The wood of the mango tree grows relatively quickly and the trunk of this tree often has a large diameter and is therefore extremely suitable for the furniture industry. Mango wood is sustainable because the old wood is only cut down when the tree no longer bears fruit. The structure of this wood is very unique and cannot be compared with Oak, Teak or Pine. The table top is fitted with steel strips at the bottom. These steel strips help prevent the blade from working. Wood can start to work under the influence of moist or dry air, causing cracks to appear, or connections to open and/or close again. The ideal humidity is around 50%.
