At Old Inn Wonen you will find tree trunk tables made of untreated Oak for competitive prices. The Eiken dining tables are available in various sizes and with various types of metal legs. The Oak wood in combination with a steel Mikado leg gives the table a rural and industrial look. In contrast to Mango and Acacia wood, Oak has a calm natural appearance. If you want to give the table a different color and protect it, you can easily do this with an oil of your choice. (see above) If you want to keep the untreated look, but you do want to protect your table against circles, stains and moisture, we advise you to treat the top with SKYLT®. The table top is fitted with steel strips at the bottom. These steel strips help prevent the blade from working. Wood can start to work under the influence of moist or dry air, causing cracks to appear, or connections to open and/or close again. The ideal humidity is around 50%. The table is untreated and must be varnished before use. We recommend Skylt Original 5510 for this. This is an ultra matte, colorless lacquer, especially intended for oak wood. Skylt counteracts yellowing and prevents circles and spots. For best results, sand the table first so that the paint adheres well.
