We have chosen an organic beet sector to support the “sugar factory” project in which we are a stakeholder. 

In Hauts de France, it aims to create an alternative sugar sector by promoting regional organic beet and responding to social, ecological, economic and agronomic issues. 

The project guarantees a fair selling price for beets, while offering innovative products such as beet syrup and complete powdered sugar. 

With cooperative governance shared between upstream and downstream stakeholders, the micro-sugar mill is part of an approach to territorial development and diversification of agricultural activities.
