Champagne Sagged Moss

An innovative serving plate with a warm, matt surface finish, made from a green-brown champagne bottle. This sturdy bottle was transformed using hot glass manipulation techniques, with only the center fused together into a flat plane, without distorting the essential characteristics of the bottle: the mouth and neck are still open, while the forward-sloping bottoms of the bottles are still open before is characterized by its characteristic hollow. The wide, flat surface in the middle can be used like a normal salad or cake plate. Ideal for serving fruit, cheese or appetizers. Every lovingly recycled bottle - which has been collected in our local community - is a distinctive one-off, the likes of which one will look for in vain in ordinary shops. This environmentally friendly piece of crockery sets an example against the extravagance of the modern throwaway society and breathes new life into a bottle that was once carelessly thrown away.
