Shinzato - Delicious Japanese whisky distilled in Okinawa

A delicious whisky distilled in Okinawa, Shinzato whisky is distinguished by its delicacy and subtlety. It offers an impressive palette of pastry aromas, blending gingerbread, cinnamon and bittersweet citrus fruits. An original whisky, imported exclusively by us. Distilled in Okinawa from Scottish malt, Shinzato whisky is blended with 13-year-old awamori (rice spirit) and then matured in heavily charred oak barrels. The first nose offers aromas of tarte tatin, coated in vanilla. The second nose is deeper where toasted and buttery notes stand out. The palate is immediately seduced by the enveloping and pleasant texture, where notes of gingerbread and cinnamon accompany a slight salinity. The finish, surprisingly sober, is appetizing and leaves us with a warm and cozy atmosphere. A delicate whisky like no other.
