Tumaco basket

Product story This basket was made from (a plant fiber native to the Andes) in southern Colombia. The manufacturing technique of the Tumaco basket is actually a beautiful family story. Indeed, our craftswoman learned weaving from her farmer father. During harvest time, the family would weave the baskets necessary to hold the food gathered. Our craftswoman has decided to perpetuate this heritage and revisit the harvest baskets by enriching them with an elegant design and sober colors.
