Product story This plaid was woven in southern Colombia, at the foot of the El Cumbal volcano, by women of the . For the families of our craftswomen, weaving is a main economic source. It has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. The Plaid Cumbal, made of sheep's wool, was woven by hand on a horizontal loom; and her flower headband, was woven on a vertical loom called . On this band, which originally complements the traditional clothes of the Pastos, represents the cosmogony of the community.
