Luigi stood on the waterfront and stared at the muddy sea water. Waves crashed onto the beach, bringing with them the foul stench of fish. The water was higher than usual and countless twigs and branches floated in the current. It was already almost dark and much too cold for this time of year. He shivered and buried his hands in the pockets of his old, frayed rain jacket. A few joggers ran past him, people with dogs and a couple in love. He was invisible, people didn't notice him. But "From Naples with Love," as we titled the seventh volume of our "Un Amore Italiano" series, is about deadly affairs, murderous relationships, contract killings, true love, and... of course about the mafia.
