Creative Writing for Children: Poems

This workbook aims to encourage children and young people to write. Reading and writing skills are the fundamental competencies for acquiring knowledge in any field. Creative writing also promotes one's imagination and creativity, something that is often neglected in the age of the Internet and game consoles. With this book, we want to make the first step easier: finding a reason to write and offering simple instructions for your first poems. ­ That's why we provide children with pictures, rhyming words and rhyming couplets to help them write their first poems. ­ The book is designed for group work in school classes or writing groups, but can also be used independently by each child to write beautiful poems on nine different themes throughout the year.
