Creative Writing for Children: Halloween

This workbook is about motivating children and young people to write. Reading and writing skills are the most important skills for acquiring knowledge, no matter in which area you want to acquire knowledge. ­ Creative writing also stimulates one's imagination and creativity, something that is unfortunately all too often lost in an age of the internet and games consoles. Taking the first step, finding a “reason to write,” and receiving a little writing guidance for the first stories—that is what we want to achieve with this book. ­ That's why we give children pictures, story beginnings, sentences and words to help them create their own first stories. ­ The book is designed for group work in school classes or for writing groups, but can also be picked up by any child without belonging to a group to read beautiful fairy tales or short stories on the topic of Halloween.
