We believe it is essential to carve out a space in your life that fills your cup back up.
Founder Story
Ellen is no exception in falling victim to burnout and overwhelm. She knows all too well the consequences of overworking, running from task to task and only stopping when someone literally picks her up and plonks her on the sofa (true story). In fact, her tendency to always be running around and struggling to stop is what first inspired her to build a pod. She needed a place she could pause and be still that was separate from her day-to-day. Once she discovered the power of bite-size resting throughout the day, and the multitude of forms within which rest comes, it became clear that her calming, cocoon-like pods could contribute to providing a solution to the rest-deficit we as a society have found ourselves in.
