Each piece is truly unique, as the glaze reacts differently depending on the position of the item within the kiln. Once the candle has finished, you can reuse the jar. More product information ▾ Candle Instructions When burning this soy wax candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 2.5 hours so that the wax melts and pools to the edge of the jar. Soy wax has a memory and this helps the candle to avoid "tunnelling" down, in the centre of the jar. Thereafter burn the soy candle for a minimum of 2 hours and maximum of 4 hours. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 of an inch, having allowed it to cool first. After the candle has been used, pour boiling water into the jar, just below the top. Let the water cool for 2 to 3 hours until the water has pulled the wax to the top to form a disc. Remove the wax and wash the jar with warm soapy water. Dry and use for anything you like!
