For washing at the end of each cycle, we recommend the following routine: - soak your SHL for 1 hour in cold water - pre-wash in SHL ONLY machine (cycle approximately 30 minutes, 30°C maximum, spin 1200 rpm minimum) - then machine wash with the rest of your usual laundry. If necessary, you can apply a stain remover soap before washing (long cycle, 30°C minimum, spin 1200 rpm minimum) Detergents containing glycerin are not recommended for washing SHLs, as they clog the absorbent core and reduce the effectiveness of the sanitary napkin. SHLs are used alone or in addition to other protection such as the menstrual cup for example.
